Watch: Van Hise Students Investigate Wisconsin Winter Animals

Kindergartners at Vise Hise Elementary were treated to a field trip to Aldo Leopold Nature Center, where they learned all about how animals in Wisconsin prepare for the winter. 

Students got the chance to become wildlife detectives in the classroom — learning how to tell animals apart using their footprints or other clues — then got to apply those skills out in the natural world.
