Parents receive formal reports on their children’s progress four times during the school year. All elementary schools schedule Parent-Teacher conferences at the end of the first quarter to give parents and teachers an opportunity to share information about the child.
Written reports are sent home at the end of the second, third, and fourth quarters. It is vital that parents and teachers be in communication with each other frequently so that the child understands that everyone is working together. If you have any questions about your child’s progress or educational program, do not hesitate to call your child’s teacher.
Contacting Your Child’s Teacher
If you have questions about your child’s progress, please contact the classroom teacher. To contact the teacher, please call our main school phone number at 608-204-4240. Calls received during the instructional day will be connected to the teacher’s classroom voicemail so as not to interrupt instruction. Calls made outside of the instructional day will be transferred directly to the teacher’s classroom phone. Parents may also call teachers’ direct phone numbers in the classroom at any time. Please be aware that calls made to these numbers during the instructional day are automatically transferred to our main office number. Parents are also encouraged to contact teachers via email.
Observing in Your Child’s Classroom
If you are interested in observing in your child’s classroom, please contact the school principal at 608-204-4240 to arrange a time that is convenient to you and the classroom teacher. Classroom observations are limited to 20 minutes in duration.
