Greetings Leopold Families,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you do to partner with us at Leopold to support our children’s learning and social emotional growth.  As a Community School, we believe in all people having a voice in creating equitable opportunities for both children and adults to thrive. Our beautifully diverse community is where different perspectives, ideas and experiences come together to develop the priorities and plans for improving how our children and families are served.

Our school motto is “Together We Can” because we truly believe that the work of teaching and learning, especially during this pandemic, is best done in collaboration with families, staff and our community.   We all want our children to be college, career and community ready. To reach this goal, our students will feel respected and acknowledged as their authentic selves in a school community where they experience a strong sense of belonging while learning at high levels.

The 2020-21 school year is going to be one like no other we have experienced so far. Working together in this pandemic has its challenges. However, this time also offers us an opportunity to be creative, innovative and even more connected for the good of our children and community. There will be times that we make mistakes and learn how to get even better for the sake of our kids.  There will also be times for celebrating our children’s learning and our sense of community.  We have so much ahead of us and we are so pleased to be partners with you on this journey into the 2020-21 school year at Leopold Community School!

 In Partnership,
